What We Do:

While the Brazilian government strives toward far-reaching socio-economic solutions, the BR-111 Foundation in partnership with BR-111 seeks to provide immediate relief and promote long-term opportunities for children within specific communities, which suffer from striking poverty. BR-111 pledges of each and every sale of its hardwood flooring products to RUMO.

The Rubens Moraes Educational Institute (RUMO), a non-profit organization that provides schooling, social services, and healthcare to underprivileged children in Brazil, creates a nurturing environment that would expand fundamental knowledge and encourage a desire for long lasting learning for each of them. The organization targets children of early elementary ages and counts with a team of teachers, business and administrative consultants, legal representatives, and medical professionals. Each of the team members is completely dedicated to achieving our goal of providing a chance for bettering the lives of each of the children that assist to RUMO.

Through your purchase you are helping the founding of the social education, sponsoring a classroom, or supporting healthcare or daily nutrition of each of the children attending the school.

BR-111 is also committed to the preservation and renewal of the rainforest, actively promoting sustainable forest practices and securing timber that is selectively harvested and inspected by approved government environment agencies.
