Annual Activity Report

The Annual Activity Report, pertaining to School year 2007, is already available at our web site (www.rubensmoraes.org.br).

The report contains data regarding the instructional and supportive work performed by the institution. It also contains information such as the number of children enrolled, group classification, number of people directly involved with the projects and initiatives developed by the institute, as well as the activities carried out in the following areas: pedagogic, social, health, diet and social-recreational. Make sure to take a look at it! The transparency of its administration is part of the excellent work executed by RUMO.

Vacation Schedule

Smiles and fascinated looks translated the joy of Rubens de Moraes Institute (RUMO) students during January’s vacation activities. Among countless entertaining activities, there were: activities with clay, mosaic, confection of pencil cases, play dough, silk painting and stone painting.

After the activities, instructor Edinho conducted a series of playful activities that enhanced even more the joy of the children, generating a pleasant feeling!

The vacation break ended on February 7th, with the start of 2008 School year.

Special Thanks

Once upon a time two young dreamers, like many others, left their family behind and took off in search of an opportunity for a better life.

Like few, their entrepreneurial talent lead them to build a solid and respectful business. Today, this business is recognized as the largest manufacturer of Brazilian wood floors in the United States.

Located in Miami, Florida, BR-111™ remains concerned about promoting social development in Brazil. With that, the company founded the
BR-111™ Foundation, foremost sponsor of Rubens Moraes Institute (RUMO) and essentially responsible for its excellent performance in our community.

If countless children have the chance to fight for a honorable future, and the community has the privilege of supporting this opportunity, the merit is yours.

RUMO, on behalf of the children supported by it, thank all BR-111™ employees and directors, especially the venerable creators of this project: Márcia and Daniel Pagano and Ricardo Moraes.

“Great are those who were dreamers before.”

Participate and celebrate. Our children will thank you.
